If you’re not clear why you’re in business or where you're going, you won't have a ‘north star’ - a destination for your SatNav. If you don’t have an end destination, you’re going to go in all directions, not knowing which path to take. Your vision is what will get you out of bed every day! Especially when times are hard or you’re not at your best.2/ It's easier for your ideal CLIENTS to decide you're the one to help them. When a potential client can see and understand what's important to you, or your why, it's easier for them to connect and for you to build that know, like and trust factor so that you're the one they choose when they need help.Without a clear vision for your business, you can feel like you have no direction or purpose. And that can be not only energy sapping but pretty demotivating too.So spend some time to think about what your vision is. And then share it in your content and on your platforms. You'll be amazed at how it acts like a magnet for your ideal clients.Topic 2 Key Area of ImprovementNiche & MarketBeing super clear on your niche and ideal client makes building a business so much easier. It's easier to be an ‘expert’ in one area It's easier to be known for what you doIt's easier to find clients – they will identify themselvesIt's easier to market yourself – you only need to market where your ideal clients are hanging out, and you can talk specifically about their painYou can charge more for your packages The biggest mistake I see NT's doing is to try to appeal to everyone and anyone, and end up appealing to no-one! If you don't specialise, it’s really hard to build an audience that can find you and relate to you (unless you're a celebrity or have a huge network!). Choose a speciality to build your expertise, and get really clear on your ideal client so you can easily find them. Getting clear on this foundation will help you attract more clients, make more money and have a bigger impact.Topic 3 Key Area of ImprovementBrand & WebsiteWithout clear branding and a converting website, you’ll have trouble getting seen and remembered.What are the important things to consider?Your business name is unique (and nothing is more unique than your own name!) - don't go down the generic 'nutrition' based brand name route - it's all been done before and doesn't make you stand outYour colours, fonts and designs are consistent and will be attractive to your ideal client Your website immediately captures attention, builds trust and credibility (that means I need to see your lovely face when it loads up - NOT a picture of an avocado....:))Your website is 100% focussed on the visitor taking action Make sure your branding reflects you and your niche, market and message. And that your website is totally focussed on engaging your ideal client.Topic 4 Key Area of ImprovementMarketingBuilding an engaged audience in your target market is key to growing your business, to consistently attract new enquiries and work with more clients. The most important thing you need to do is be CONSISTENT. And then be PATIENT.The biggest mistake I see NT"s making is to try and do it all, and not do anything consistently. And then it's so easy to get overwhelmed.If you create a consistent marketing strategy, everything will be easier and you'll get into a routine that won't be overwhelming.Work out where your ideal clients are gathered, create a content plan, systemise the delivery and focus on filling your sales funnel. If you do that, you'll have new enquiries coming in on a regular basis.Topic 5 Key Area of ImprovementPricingAs NT’s we are prone to under-charging for our services. When you start selling packages and charging what you're worth, you get;1/ More money – you can charge more for a package than a one off session AND It's easier to sell because of the benefits2/ More freedom and time - you'll work way less on one client than you will on 20! You also save time selling – it's much quicker to sell 1 package than 20 single consultations.3/ More meaning - you'll have a bigger impact when you can go deeper, at a slower pace with one client over a longer time frame. Better results means more referrals, more transformation and more fulfilment.Work out how you can package up your services to get better results for your clients and more profit and impact for your business.Topic 6 Key Area of ImprovementSalesKnowing how to sell is critical for any business. When I first started selling my higher priced packages, I dreaded the moment I had to reveal the price! I felt almost GUILTY asking to be paid for my advice. Do you sometimes feel that?I soon found out though that if I didn't get past this, I wouldn't have a business at all, and therefore wouldn't be able to help anyone!So I learnt how to sell with ease and integrity, and I practised. And in time it became natural, and really easy.When you know how to communicate your value and structure your sales process, it makes it easy for clients to feel excited about saying yes to working with you.Topic 7 Key Area of ImprovementDeliveryHow your clients feel before, during and after your programme is key to your success​​. ​​It's obviously important to get the results your clients are after. But you also need to focus on the whole client experience, from the moment they find out about you to the final session you deliver (and beyond)Are you making every step valuable, easy and engaging?The more delighted your clients are, the more they are going to refer you to others, give you an amazing testimonial and sing your praises from the rooftops! And they will be much more likely to buy more from you in the future. Put yourself in your clients shoes, and go through their journey from finding you to finishing your programme. What areas can you add value, make it easier or wow them? Topic 8 Key Area of ImprovementSystemsMost NT’s complain about working too hard in their business, whether it’s marketing, admin or client work. If you automate, replicate and delegate many of your tasks, you will free up lots of time, and avoid overwhelm and burnout; 1. AUTOMATE everything you can, so you don’t spend too much time doing things manually.2. REPLICATE and systemise your processes right from the start. It will be so much easier as you grow. Write down everything and then you can use it again and again, saving you so much admin time.3. DELEGATE - one thing is for sure, you can’t build a business on your own! You’re going to need help. At first you’ll be doing everything, but soon enough you’re going to need to get help both in your business and at home. The value of freeing up your time is worth x 10 the investment, I promise!
